The Honour That Comes With Priesthood - TOPIC: KEEP NO SECRET WITH THE DEVIL

Saturday, 1 August 2026

Text

John 14:30; John 8:44; John 10:10; Ephesians 4:27; Ephesians 5:11.

“"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." Ephesians 5:11.”

MESSAGE
To keep no secret with the devil means to refuse hidden fellowship with sin, darkness, bondage, and compromise. Secret sins, addictions, occultic connections, manipulations, and hidden works of the flesh give the enemy a foothold from which he can accuse, control, and oppress. Secrecy allows the devil to steal joy, weaken spiritual confidence, and make a person live a false life before God and men. True freedom begins when hidden darkness is brought before God in repentance and, where necessary, before trusted spiritual help for prayer, counsel, and deliverance.

The devil has nothing good to give to those who associate with him. Every tie with him leads towards destruction. Therefore, every believer must strive to have nothing in common with the devil and nothing in the heart that he can use as an accusation. Jesus said that the prince of this world came but found nothing in Him. Satan had no sin, no legal claim, no foothold, and no shared interest in Christ. In the same way, we must desire a clean life before God, where the devil finds no secret agreement, hidden door, or unfruitful work of darkness.

Having secret sin is having a secret tie with the devil. Therefore, pause and ask yourself sincerely: what are the instruments of darkness in my life? Am I free from the devil's accusation? Is there anything hidden that needs to be confessed, renounced, and forsaken? The throne of grace is open, but we must approach it with sincerity. God is able to cleanse, restore, and deliver. Bring every secret thing into the light of Christ, break every agreement with darkness, and allow the power of God to repair whatever the enemy has destroyed.

As we enter into the month of August, we urge us to stay open in God. Let the Prince of this earth not find anything in us.
